Beauty App by HG ("Beauty App") cares about your privacy. We do not sell your content, use it for advertising, or share it with third parties for marketing purposes. This page explains what data the app may collect and why.
As disclosed in our App Store Privacy Labels, the app may collect the following data types. None of it is linked to your identity ("Data Not Linked to You"):
This data is used solely to power the app's core functionality — not for marketing, ad targeting, or building a profile of you.
Skin analysis and product-label reading are powered by Anthropic's Claude AI model. Photos sent for analysis are used only to generate your result; they are not permanently stored on our servers. Anthropic does not train its models on this content (photos and analysis results), and automatically deletes these inputs and outputs from its backend within 30 days of receipt or generation, unless longer retention is needed to investigate a suspected violation of its Usage Policy.
If eyewear is detected in a face photo (for privacy and accuracy), the result is discarded and you're asked to retake the photo.
Your analyses, product library, usage plans, and profiles are stored on your device and synced across your devices via your own private iCloud/CloudKit database, tied only to your Apple ID. This data is not stored on HGCO servers and is not accessible to us; it is governed by Apple's own privacy practices.
If you allow it, your location (only while using the app) powers weather-based skincare tips on the Home screen via WeatherKit. Location data is not stored on our servers, and this feature is entirely optional.
Beauty Premium subscriptions are managed through Apple's StoreKit. Your payment information is processed by Apple and is never seen or stored by us.
The app contains no ads, no third-party advertising SDKs, and no tracking analytics.
Web links you open from within the app (e.g., a product's manufacturer page) are governed by that website's own privacy policy.
You can delete your profile, analysis, or product records at any time from within the app. Removing the app from your device deletes local data; you can remove synced iCloud data from your device's iCloud settings.
Beauty App is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect data from users under 13.
